What we collect
- Contact: email (and any message you send) when you write to us.
- Service use: URLs you submit for briefs, generated brief content, and a cookie used to enforce free daily credits (IP-hashed). Billing metadata when paid plans launch.
- Technical essentials: basic server/hosting logs (e.g. IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and delivery. No advertising cookies; no third-party analytics trackers unless later disclosed.
Purpose & legal basis
We process data to provide RivalBrief, enforce free-credit limits, bill customers when live, and keep the service secure. Where Swiss / GDPR rules apply, bases include contract, legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and consent where required.
Sharing
We use infrastructure and AI providers as processors (e.g. hosting such as Vercel, xAI for brief generation, Stripe for payments when live). We do not sell personal data. Page text you request is sent to the model provider to generate the brief.
Retention
Credit cookies: ~48 hours. Contact emails: until you ask us to delete them. Hosting logs: short periods typical for security.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction. Contact hello@rivalbrief.ai.
URLs you submit
Competitor or product URLs are used to generate your brief and operate the service. Do not submit secrets or non-public URLs you are not allowed to process.
